FWW Welcomes Justin Whitesides as a Shareholder
1/1/2026
Farleigh Wada Witt is pleased to announce that Justin Whitesides has become a shareholder of the firm. Justin primarily represents credit unions and other financial institutions. As former general counsel for a credit union, he has unique insight into how laws, regulations, and supervisory pressures affect all aspects of a credit union and its membership. Justin also keeps up to date on potential legislation, proposed regulations, and new case law that affects credit unions, providing guidance to legislative drafters and credit unions alike on the impact of these legal changes. Justin is a frequent speaker on such matters and provides related training on a regular basis.
“Farleigh Wada Witt is one of the most respected law firms in the credit union industry, and I am honored to become one of its shareholders. I was lucky enough to start my legal career here before heading in-house, where I continued to use the firm as a client for many years. My admiration for FWW attorneys has only increased over the years. I could not be happier with their decision to welcome me as a shareholder,” says Justin.
Justin is licensed to practice in Oregon, Arizona, and Illinois.
Justin is a member of the American Bar Association’s Business Section’s Credit Union Committee and the ABA Consumer Financial Services Committee. He also regularly participates in industry events with the GoWest Credit Union Association. Credit union professionals can observe his next speaking engagements at GoWest’s Vision Board event in April, and at GoWest’s Legal Update this May.
