On Tuesday, March 24, the U.S. Department of Labor ("DOL") issued its first round of published guidance to employers regarding the Families First Coronavirus Response Act ("FFCRA"). The DOL clarified the new law will take effect on April 1, 2020, not on April 2, 2020. In addition, on March 25, the DOL released a new required FFCRA poster and a helpful poster-related Frequently Asked Questions page on its website.
